Shading Fun
Make drawings look 3D with simple shading.
Intermediate1. Light and dark
Where light hits is bright. The opposite side is darker. That's shading!
2. Soft pencil pressure
Press lightly for light areas. Press harder for dark areas.
3. Simple sphere
Draw a circle. Shade one side darker and leave a bright spot on the other side.
4. Cast shadows
Objects also leave a shadow on the ground — a soft oval under them looks great.

Draw 3 circles and shade each one from a different light direction!
Tip: You don't need many pencils — one pencil with different pressure is enough to start.
