Animals Basics
Simple ways to draw animals using shapes.
Intermediate1. Start with shapes
Most animals begin with a circle or oval for the body and a smaller circle for the head.
2. Ears and tails
Triangles for cat ears, long ovals for dog ears, curves for tails.
3. Legs
Four simple lines or ovals under the body. Don't worry about perfect proportions yet.
4. Details last
Eyes, nose, whiskers, and patterns come after the basic shape is done.

Tip: Practice one animal many times — each try gets better!
